Enhancing the Institutional Capacity of Communities to Manage Housing Funds

This workshop is conducted within the framework of the UN4UkrainianCities Project and "Towards Ukraine's Residential Reconstruction: A Capacity-Building and Cooperation Programme for Housing Recovery in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Zhytomyr" (EKYL, HOUSING UKRAINE). The Estonian project for Ukrainian cities is supported by the ESTDEV.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine in cooperation with the UNECE and EKYL are organising an expert discussion of housing policy reform in Ukraine in terms of improving legislation on housing management (depending on ownership, purpose, form of management, etc.).

The discussion is aimed at identifying problematic issues in the management of housing stocks that exist in Ukrainian legislation; and possible mechanisms for their solution, which are in use by European countries.
